This user-friendly, deep green coloured lawn turf creates a compact smart looking lawn that suits any environment – from residential to parklands and sporting fields.
Augusta® is also recognised for its high shade tolerance and is ideal for those wanting a low maintenance lawn that requires less mowing. Fine-bladed with vertical leaf posture, Augusta offers active families a lawn that is soft to the touch and under foot.
Thanks to a vigorous root system Augusta®s dense re-growth patterns make it an ideal choice for active households with large pets.
Augustas deep root system also means it is an efficient water user and exceptionally suitable for drought prone regions and an ideal lawn turf choice for areas with low rainfall or council water restrictions.
Augusta® also prides itself on having higher disease and insect resistance than many other warm season grasses. Strong regrowth patterns mean Augusta® can resist weeds.

Augusta® Zoysia is highly drought tolerant once established – but, like all plants, needs water. Requirements will vary depending on environmental factors. Be aware of a drying climate and water your lawn accordingly.
The turf has an attractive dark green colour, and is soft to the touch and underfoot. It has fine leaf blades and early spring green-up (where dormant in cooler climates).
This turf has high shade tolerance, very low maintenance which means less mowing. High wear tolerance and high salt tolerance. High resistance to insects and diseases and produces low seed head which is a common irritant to people with allergies.
This turf has low water usage and reduced fertiliser requirements. Reduced insecticide, herbicide and fungicide requirements due to natural resistance.
Cut to 2cm-5cm in sun, or 5cm-7cm in shade - lower cuts will resemble a Couch lawn, higher cuts will resemble a Fescue lawn with longer leaf blades.
Mow every 2 weeks in warmer months, and every 3-8 weeks in colder months.
Fertiliser is recommended twice a year, with an additional application if the lawn is subject to high levels of wear and tear.
