Keep the turf consistently moist — water 3 to 4 times a day.
Don’t let it dry out! This early stage is vital for root establishment.
To check if it’s taking root, gently lift a corner of the turf after about 10–14 days.
Begin to reduce watering frequency, but make sure each watering is deep — this helps build strong roots.
After 4–6 weeks, your lawn should be ready for its first mow. Only mow once the turf is well rooted, and start with a higher mower setting for the first few cuts.
